Captain, Dave Curran, has introduced a new competition for the winter of 2010, The Captains Winter League. All players with current handicaps are eligible to enter the competition.

Two winners will accompany the Captain and Vice Captain, Jim Gallagher, in a round of golf at The London Club in Kent this spring.

How it works...

All players must enter their name on the entry sheet on the gents notice board, before their first round.

Each player must enter 3 cards only, of their own choosing, between Sunday 10th January and Sunday 21st March (excluding the Texas Scramble on 28th February). You may enter a singles card from the Winter Fourball rounds.

The best eclectic scores will then be calculated, with the best handicap and scratch scores counting towards your final score.

All cards must be clearly marked Capt Winter League and as with all competitions, cards entered after the corresponding Sunday competition will NOT count.

Once a scorecard has been submitted, it can NOT be withdrawn to favour an improved score.
