The draw has been made for next years (2010) Essex Golf Union team competitions with Ilford drawing some tough opponents.

The Thornton Cup team have been drawn to play at home in the first round against Stock Brook. The winners of that tie will face either Maylands or Lords (Rayleigh) in another home tie in the second round.

The Leslie Woods team face the tough task of an away match at Orsett in the first round. Loughton or Colchester at home will be the reward for the first round winners.

The Norman Plum Trophy team start there first round with a tie against Romford, whilst the winners face the current champions Benton Hall or Rochford Hundred in the second round.

The Seniors Championship sees Ilford travel the furthest they possibly could in the competition when they face Harwich and Dovercourt in the first round. The winners face a home tie in the second round against either Hainault Forest or Abridge.
