The final round has been completed and the victorious pair were Ron Fardell and Reg Lesurf with 133 points
Ilford Golf Club's Leslie Woods team were narrowly defeated in the first round of the Essex Golf Union run competition yesterday, losing 9-6 away at Thorndon Park Golf Club.
Thursday evening saw Ilford Golf Club Captain, Jim Gallagher, open the much anticipated new par 4 4th hole.
Ilford Golf Club's Essex Seniors team overcame Burnham on Crouch on Monday in the first round of the county competition.
The Norman Plum team, captained by Andy Gray, were knocked out at the first hurdle on Saturday.
