A gentle, opening, short par four which encourages a heroic tee shot at the green for the strong player.

Most players will choose to play to the dogleg of the fairway, avoiding the ditch and bunker on the left and thus leave an approach to a very small and narrow green, guarded by a tricky bunker.

Out of bounds greets anyone going too far left off the tee whilst trees line both sides of the fairway. The right side of the fairway is the favoured tee shot.
